1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Yougni at yougni.com (the "Service"). The Service is operated by the individual independent developer behind Yougni ("we", "us", or "the operator"). Yougni is a personal project and is not a registered company unless we state otherwise on the site. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Content Policy, and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description

Yougni provides online AI utility tools for photos, video, and audio — including upscaling, watermark and background removal, object erasure, video frame-rate enhancement, and speech-to-text transcription. Processed outputs are produced by third-party AI models; quality, latency, and availability may vary. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue tools with reasonable notice where practicable.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us promptly of unauthorized use.

4. Credits, subscriptions, and payments

Running a tool consumes credits or subscription allowances as displayed before you confirm a task or purchase. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. Payments are handled by authorized third-party payment providers shown at checkout (which may include merchant-of-record partners or payment gateways). The provider name and any additional buyer terms are displayed before you pay. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Available methods may vary by region and may change as we add or replace providers. Credits and digital entitlements are generally non-transferable and have no cash value except as required by applicable law. Unused subscription credits may expire according to the plan shown at purchase. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy.

5. Acceptable use and prohibited content

You may not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive purposes. Without limitation, you may not upload, process, or distribute: • Sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult content • Content sexualizing minors or depicting child exploitation • Non-consensual intimate imagery or unauthorized deepfakes of real persons • Illegal material, fraud, malware, or impersonation • Content that infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights Full rules are in our Content Policy. We may block uploads, reject outputs, remove content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report violations to authorities where required.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your uploads and lawful uses of processed outputs, subject to third-party model provider terms and applicable law. You must have permission to edit the source media. We do not guarantee that outputs are free of third-party rights; you are responsible for clearance before commercial use. Yougni owns the Service, software, branding, and documentation. You may not reverse engineer, scrape, resell, or misuse the Service except as permitted in writing.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. AI PROCESSED OUTPUTS MAY BE INACCURATE OR UNSUITABLE; YOU MUST REVIEW BEFORE USE OR PUBLICATION. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOUGNI WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, or legal requirements. Upon termination, unused credits may be forfeited except where required by law or our Refund Policy.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, notified by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws that apply where the operator of Yougni is located, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise. Contact: [email protected]
