Compress images without guessing quality
Use Yougni Image Compressor to shrink JPEG, PNG, or WebP files. Lossless keeps every pixel; Smaller mode trades a little visual detail for a much lighter file.
Three steps
Most photos finish in a few seconds. If the result is larger, we keep the original.
- 1.
Upload photos
JPEG, PNG, or WebP. Up to 20 files per batch; credits are shown before you start.
- 2.
Pick Lossless or Smaller
Lossless re-encodes without changing pixels. Smaller uses visually lossless WebP or JPEG when you need a web-ready file.
- 3.
Download the smaller file
Compare original vs compressed size on the result card, then save the output.
Lossless vs Smaller
Pick the mode from the size you need, not from a quality slider guess.
Lossless
Re-encodes the file without changing pixels. Typical savings are 10–40%. Already-tight JPEGs may barely move.
Smaller
Uses visually lossless WebP or JPEG when you need a web-ready attachment or store upload.
Original kept if larger
If the output is bigger than the source, we keep the original so you do not pay for a worse file.
Batch of 20
Drop a folder of product shots. Credits are shown before you confirm.
Compression FAQ
File types, credits, and what this tool does not do.
Which formats can I compress?
JPEG, PNG, and WebP. Output format depends on the mode you pick.
Is this the same as TinyPNG?
Same job — shrink photos for the web. Yougni adds an explicit Lossless mode and a 20-file batch. See the TinyPNG alternative guide.
Does this create a new image?
No. It re-encodes the file you upload. It does not generate pictures from text.
When to use which mode
Use Lossless for archives and anything you might print. Use Smaller for websites, email, and chat. Compression is free, up to 20 at once. Yougni does not generate a new picture from a text prompt.
